【摘要】:Aromaticcontentisakeycharacteristicofhydrocarbonoilsandcanaffectavarietyofpropertiesoftheoilincludingitsboilingrange,viscosity,stability,andcompatibilityoftheoilwithpolymers.Existingmethodsforestimatingaromaticcontentsusephysicalmeasurements,suchasrefractiveindex,density,andnumberaveragemolecularweight(seeTestMethodD3238)orinfraredabsorbanceandoftendependontheavailabilityofsuitablestandards.TheseNMRproceduresdonotrequirestandardsofknownaromatichydrogenoraromaticcarboncontentsandareapplicabletoawiderangeofhydrocarbonoilsthatarecompletelysolubleinchloroformatambienttemperature.Thearomatichydrogenandaromaticcarboncontentsdeterminedbythistestmethodcanbeusedtoevaluatechangesinaromaticcontentsofhydrocarbonoilsduetochangesinprocessingconditionsandtodevelopprocessingmodelsinwhichthearomaticcontentofthehydrocarbonoilisakeyprocessingindicator.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthearomatichydrogencontent(ProceduresAandB)andaromaticcarboncontent(ProcedureC)ofhydrocarbonoilsusinghigh-resolutionnuclearmagneticresonance(NMR)spectrometers.Applicablesamplesincludekerosenes,gasoils,mineraloils,lubricatingoils,coalliquids,andotherdistillatesthatarecompletelysolubleinchloroformatambienttemperature.ForpulseFouriertransform(FT)spectrometers,thedetectionlimitistypically0.1mol%aromatichydrogenatomsand0.5mol%aromaticcarbonatoms.Forcontinuouswave(CW)spectrometers,whicharesuitableformeasuringaromatichydrogencontentsonly,thedetectionlimitisconsiderablyhigherandtypically0.5mol%aromatichydrogenatoms.1.2Thereportedunitsaremolepercentaromatichydrogenatomsandmolepercentaromaticcarbonatoms.1.3Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletosamplescontainingmorethan1mass%olefinicorphenoliccompounds.1.4ThistestmethoddoesnotcoverthedeterminationofthepercentagemassofaromaticcompoundsinoilssinceNMRsignalsfrombothsaturatedhydrocarbonsandaliphaticsubstituentsonaromaticringcompoundsappearinthesamechemicalshiftregion.Forthedeterminationofmassorvolumepercentaromaticsinhydrocarbonoils,chromatographic,ormassspectrometrymethodscanbeused.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificprecautionarystatementsaregivenin7.2and7.3.
