【摘要】:Thistestprocedureisusedtomeasuretwoeffectsofanexplosivedetonatedinatrashreceptacleasrelatedtothetypeandamountofexplosivechargeandthelocationwherethechargeisplacedinthetrashreceptacle.Thetwosourcesofdamagearefrom:Primaryandsecondaryfragmentsduetothedetonation,andOverpressurefromthedetonation.Thistestprocedureisalsousedtodocumentthephysicaldamagetothetrashreceptacleduetoexplosion.Thistestprocedureisapplicabletoalltrashreceptacles,includingliddedornon-liddedassuppliedbythemanufacturer.Thistestprocedureisusedtogeneratedataforuseindevelopingperformancespecificationsfortrashreceptacles.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesaprocedureforcharacterizingtheperformanceofatrashreceptaclewhenanexplosiveisdetonatedwithinthereceptacle.1.1.1Theproceduremeasuresthemagnitudeofblastwaves(thatis,externaloverpressures)developedanddeterminestheextentandlocationoffragmentationproducedduringtheexplosion.1.1.2Effectsduetoafireballresultingfromthedetonationofanexplosivewithinatrashreceptaclearebeyondthescopeofthetestmethod.1.2Thistestmethodisintendedtobeperformedinopen-airtestarenas.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesstatedinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
