【摘要】:1ThispartofISO7539coversproceduresfordesigning,preparingandusingpre-crackedspecimensforinvestigatingthesusceptibilityofmetaltostresscorrosioncrackingbymeansoftestsconductedunderrisingloadorrisingdisplacement.TestsconductedunderconstantloadorconstantdisplacementaredealtwithinISO7539-6.Theterm"metal"asusedinthispartofISO7539includesalloys.2Becauseoftheneedtoconfineplasticitytothecracktip,pre-crackedspecimensarenotsuitablefortheevaluationofthinproductssuchassheetorwireandaregenerallyusedforthickerproductsincludingplate,barandforgings.Theycanalsobeusedforpartsjoinedbywelding.3Pre-crackedspecimensmaybestressedquantitativelywithequipmentforapplicationofamonotonicallyincreasingloadordisplacementattheloadingpoints.4Aparticularadvantageofpre-crackedspecimensisthattheyallowdatatobeacquiredfromwhichcriticaldefectsizes,abovewhichstresscorrosioncrackingmayoccur,canbeestimatedforcomponentsofknowngeometrysubjectedtoknownstresses.Theyalsoenableratesofstresscorrosioncrackpropagationtobedetermined.5Aprincipaladvantageofthetestisthatittakesintoaccountthepotentialimpactofdynamicstrainingonthethresholdforstresscorrosioncracking.6Atsufficientlylowloadingrates,theKISCCdeterminedbythismethodcanbelessthanorequaltothatobtainedbyconstantloadordisplacementmethodsandcanbedeterminedmorerapidly.
